I have a First Class Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Acoustics from the University of Sydney in Australia. Over the last 30 years I have been involved in lecturing and tutoring of both undergraduate and postgraduate students, published various conference papers and peer reviewed journal papers, and also worked as an acoustic consultant in the engineering and construction industry in Australia, US and UK. I’ve worked on some of the most prestigious building designs around the world including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Building in Seattle, the Beijing Watercube Olympic Swimming Centre and several theatres in Australia.

I am also an acoustic product designer. The technology I have developed has been granted international patents and has been subsequently licensed for commercialisation.
