Hi! I live in beautiful Cape Town and have been lecturing at universities around my native South Africa for the past 18 years. I have a Master's Degree from New York University in Cinema Studies, a BA in English, Theatre & Film, I also studied Medicine for a few years.

I taught English, Drama, Philosophy, Astronomy and Biology at a Waldorf High School for 5 years. Previously I ran Film Schools and taught Film History, Analysis and Screenwriting. I have lived and taught all over the world, including Japan and Afghanistan.

Currently I teach meditation and healing energy practices from my home studio. I also teach English online while writing novels, articles and my blog.

I have two awesome children and three cats. When I'm not hiking in the mountains or swimming in the sea I'm doing Tai Chi, reading and discovering my latest passion.
