Hi and welcome!
I'm Chané, and so glad to meet you. Let me quickly tell you a little bit about myself and my passion for healthy food, natural nutrition, and wellness.
After I obtained my BA degree, I decided to enroll for a Natural Health Nutrition Course (NHN) that qualified me as a Certified Health Consultant. This course gave me a clearer understanding of how the body works and it taught me the importance of taking responsibility for my own health in order to enjoy lifelong health.
Ever since I can remember, the kitchen has been my happy place! I love to create new recipes, especially when they are delicious, healthy AND help you lose weight. Apart from being a mom, I am also a health coach who helps clients lose significant amounts of weight - the healthy way. Being a model myself, I always needed to look great, and therefore, applied my knowledge of health to the area of weight loss in particular. When I saw that my newly discovered weight loss secrets worked for me (even after having 3 kids!), I shared them with my clients – and with great success. My Fix in Six 6-weeks weight loss diet plan (first published on Udemy in January 2016) is built upon more than 10 years of research, studying, personal experiments and consultations with my clients. And this is where, for the first time ever, I share my very own weight loss tips and secrets with you.
My passion for wholeness has driven me to unexpected territories in my life. I was Mrs. South Africa 2014 largely because I wanted to use the platform to inspire people to live a healthy lifestyle and help them to reach their full potential. During this time, I also created The Happy & Healthy Company where I share my passion for health, wholeness and weight loss on an online platform with my healthy website and blog. Being Mrs. South Africa gave me a national platform and I was able to share my passion for health with people from every sector of society and across all age groups. Some of these experiences included:
• Being featured in various magazines and newspapers and sharing my passion for health and weight loss, such as ‘Women & Home’, ‘Get It magazine’, ‘Baba en Kleuter’ and ‘Idees tydskrif’;
• Speaking on national radio multiple times;
• Private & group weight loss courses and cooking demonstrations;
• Individual health consulting
• Presenting 3-week Healthy eating courses to groups on topics such as weight loss, how to raise healthy children and how to create your own healthy recipes;
• Educating children at schools – and giving parents practical tips – about healthy eating habits.
Most importantly, being a wife and mother will always be my highest priority and I love my husband and children greatly. Furthermore, as wife and mother, I know exactly what obstacles people face when they're trying to live a healthy lifestyle. My weight loss plans, recipes, and weight loss secrets are therefore practical and will set you on a path towards lasting health and wellness.
