Celyn Chua is an accomplished musician and music educator, holding a Diploma in Music from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, under tutelage of Dr. Paul Liang, and also Bachelor of Music (BMUS) degree with honours from the prestigious Royal College of Music, London, studying under Prof. Nigel Clayton. With a passion for both performance and academic excellence, Celyn has developed a well-rounded career in the arts. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Schools of Music (FRSM), a title that highlights her dedication to the field and exceptional skill set in music.
Throughout their career, Celyn has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in both solo and ensemble performances. As a First Prize award recipient in solo piano youth category from the Asia Music Competition 2015, she expertise spans various musical genres, with a particular focus on classical and contemporary works.
With over a decade of experience, Celyn Chua is a passionate and accomplished instructor in both music and yoga. As a freelance piano teacher, music ensemble trainer and choral pianist for MOE School Singapore, she has nurtured students from beginners to diploma-level musicians, helping them win prestigious local and international music competitions.
Celyn is also a certified Yamaha music instructor and a song arranger and composer as a song-arranging member of Hal Leonard Publisher, known for her ability to customize pieces to fit different skill levels.
