I'm an illustrator and surface designer, which means I create art like patterns and illustrations for a variety of products. I license my art to companies like Target, Pottery Barn and Wayfair, just to name a few. My mission as an artist is to make people smile, because we need more joy in the world. I also draw on my years of experience to teach and coach other artists. When I help students discover something new, I feel like I've given back to a community that has inspired me on my own journey.
I've been featured on NPR's All Things Considered; in TED; UPPERCASE Magazine; Peppermint Magazine; Surface Design News; Project Run & Play; Raspberry Creek's Designer Studio Spotlight; Spoonflower's top 10 Design Challenge winners' circle, trending curated collections and Editor's Picks; Society6 Curator's Picks, TeePublic Editor's Picks and Redbubble's “Found.” I've also appeared on the Artists Soar Podcast; The 60x60 Project and The Tillage Podcast.
