My name is Caroline, I´m a qualified teacher and a jewellery artist.
It started as a hobby and then I was asked to teach a few people which then turned into quite a lot of classes in my spare time.
I have a teaching degree in adult education from the U.K and have been teaching in the U.K, Spain and France for over 25 years, for the last 10 years I have been teaching weekly jewellery classes in Spain and now France. I also sell my jewellery locally where I live.
If you´re American then you may notice that some of my spelling is different from yours, in U.K English we spell Jewellery and Colour differently. There are probably some other words too that I´m not aware of.
I have made my Jewellery videos using a metric guide for the wire thickness that we use in the U.K and Europe but in the downloadable sheets there is a conversion to the American Gauge sizes.
When I started I didn´t buy any expensive pliers, I just started with a basic set some of which became my favourites and I still use today. The main thing is that your flat or chain nose pliers don´t have any grooves on them so they don´t mark the wire and you clean them regularly.
I will be adding more courses, intermediate, Wedding Jewellery and advanced wire work and also Polymer clay jewellery.
