Burak Polat is the CEO and Co-Founder of Skysens, a multinational technology technology company specializing in Industrial IoT, Agentic AI, and Agile Predictive Monitoring (AgPM).

He is dedicated to helping industrial and technical enterprises modernize their legacy facilities, logistics, and factories by bridging the gap between complex data architectures and real-world business profitability.

Before launching Skysens in 2015, Burak spent four years in automotive product development engineering at Ford Motor Company.

This experience gave him a frontline understanding of the friction, inefficiencies, and "Pilot Purgatory" that plague large-scale industrial operations.

Following his time at Ford, he founded an analytics SaaS company, seamlessly blending his deep engineering roots with modern data systems.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (2011) and a Master's degree in Engineering and Technology Management from Boğaziçi University (2015).

As an instructor, Burak’s philosophy is simple: bypass academic theory and focus purely on practical, enterprise-level execution.

Having worked with global giants across automotive, logistics, and manufacturing, he knows that successful digital transformation requires more than just shiny dashboards.
