He attended Swarthmore College (B.A., Philosophy); and Georgetown University / the Kennedy Institute of Ethics (M.A. and Ph.D., Philosophy / Bioethics). The W.K. Kellogg Foundation awarded Bruce a National Fellowship in leadership development.
Bruce lives in New York City with his wife Kristen Bancroft, a senior compliance professional at a large bank. To relax Bruce enjoys visiting national parks with his wife; playing harmonica, guitar, and drums; and trying to figure out the plot of The Godfather.
