Hi, I'm Brian. For the last 20 years since I qualified from the Irish National Botanic Gardens, I have worked as a professional gardener in private & commercial settings. In more recent years, I have taught students of all abilities on accredited Horticulture courses. I believe gardening can benefit everyone in so many different ways. To quote the great Jenny Uglow; "We may think we are nurturing our garden, but of course it's our garden that is really nurturing us". On my days off, you'll probably find me pottering around my rented allotment or contemplating a (very brief) dip in the chilly Irish sea
