Braden Lynch
Professional LA Acting Coach since 2006 & Working Actor
About me
Braden Lynch is a Los Angeles acting coach and author of four books on psychology-based acting technique. Since 2006, he has coached actors for over 10,000 hours, working with students at every level—from complete beginners taking their first class to working professionals booking series regular roles on major networks and streaming platforms.
His students have booked leads and recurring roles on Netflix, Broadway, A24, Amazon Studios, HBO, Disney+, and more. Notable clients include Cailee Spaeny (Civil War, Priscilla, Alien: Romulus), Taylor Zakhar Perez (Red, White & Royal Blue, The Kissing Booth 2 & 3), Elijah Johnson (lead in MJ on Broadway), Ross Butler (13 Reasons Why, Shazam!, To All the Boys), and Samantha Hanratty (Yellowjackets, Shameless).
Braden's approach to acting is rooted in human psychology rather than mysticism or abstraction. He teaches a comprehensive technique that covers script analysis, emotional access, physical and vocal characterization, audition preparation, and career navigation—all grounded in observable behavior and sustainable practice. His methodology draws from Stella Adler's work while incorporating modern psychological understanding of emotion, motivation, and performance under pressure.
What sets Braden Lynch Studio apart is its emphasis on mental health, honest feedback without ego, and building a genuine acting community rather than a competitive environment. Classes are intentionally small (6-12 students), allowing actors to work every week and receive personalized attention. The atmosphere is collaborative and supportive—actors challenge each other to grow rather than compete for approval.
Braden is the author of Being Human: A Psychology-Based Acting Technique, a comprehensive guide to his methodology, along with three companion workbooks: Know Your Self (emotional journal for building triggers), Know Your Work (daily practice exercises), and Know Your Scenes (script analysis workbook for audition preparation).
He teaches weekly acting classes in Reseda, California and offers private coaching sessions both in-person and online to actors training worldwide. His work has been featured in Voyage LA Magazine and he maintains a 5.0-star rating from students on Google Reviews.
