I am Bohdan Kuryliak, a New Testament scholar with a Ph.D. from the University of Zurich. I serve as an associate professor of New Testament at the Ukrainian Institute of Arts and Sciences and as an adjunct professor at Andrews University in the United States.

I am also conducting a postdoctoral research project at the University of Zurich titled “Annihilation of Sinners in the Gospel of John.” My research interests include the Book of Revelation, Johannine literature, eschatology, exegesis and hermeneutics, reception history, and early Christianity.

I have gained international research experience at leading institutions, including the University of Oxford in England and Aarhus University in Denmark. I have published more than ten peer-reviewed articles and presented my research at numerous academic conferences. My work has appeared in publications issued by leading academic publishers, including Cambridge University Press, Peeters, De Gruyter Brill, and Mohr Siebeck.

Through my courses, I seek to make rigorous biblical scholarship clear and accessible. I invite learners to examine ancient texts within their historical settings, compare different interpretations, and develop a deeper understanding of the New Testament and early Christian thought.
