When I was 5 years old, my mom heard me crying and asked me what was wrong. Through my tears I said “You’re born, you live for a while, and then you die. What’s the point?”
It took me years to answer that question. Now I help other people figure out their “point” and live a life that’s true to them.
That 5-year-old grew-up and followed a typical path to become a productive member of society; a good school, a degree, a job with a future. But I felt stuck. Stuck in a career that looked good on paper but wasn't fulfilling; I dreaded Mondays and couldn’t wait for Fridays. However, I wasn’t willing to accept that my life had to be like this.
I finally found the courage to stop doing what the world told me I “should” do. Instead, I defined my own version of success and I went after it. I left my successful advertising career – people thought I was nuts. I moved to the woods and led Outward Bound trips, while leading volunteer projects in Central America and the South Pacific during the winter.
Now I live a life that’s true to me while making a positive difference in the world, as the founder of The Courage Crusade. I'm a full-time Courage Coach & Speaker, a published author of "Your Comfort Zone is Killing You" and I led personal and professional development courses in North America.
Like you, I’m scared of the exact same three things: failure, looking stupid, and not being liked. This course will help you push through those fears and live the life you're meant to live.
