Dr. Bamalakshmi J is a Professor and Head of the Department of Community Health Nursing at Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Puducherry. She holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from Annamalai University and has over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, nursing education, research, and community health. Her expertise includes maternal and child health, adolescent health, geriatric care, nursing innovations, and healthcare technology development. She has led funded research projects, holds a patent for the RAMBA Wearable Pneumatic Leg Compression Device, and has published extensively in national and international journals. Dr. Bamalakshmi is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and has completed advanced research and academic training programs, contributing significantly to nursing education, research, and public health initiatives.
