Baishali Sarkar is a professional singer in World Music that includes different genres of traditional music from East and West. She is born and broad up in West Bengal, India. She started singing traditional Bengali songs (Rabindrasangeet, Nazrulgeeti etc.) at her early age. She went to Europe for higher studies, lived in different countries and  there she was introduced to the world of Traditional Western music. And through her travelling, her interest continuously grew for both Indian and Western various music genres. Currently, she is continuing her training in Hindusthani Classical, Semi-Classical genres and Rabindrasangeet under eminent gurus.

She has been part of various groups and projects in Barcelona; 'BCN World Music Group' and 'Hummus con Curry' are her notable bands. Now she is in Slovenia and has two bands named 'Masala Music' and 'Koromandija'. She has been performing in over 30 languages such as Hebrew, Ladino, Farsi, Kurdish, Turkish, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese etc. Besides performing, she is been teaching singing both online and offline since 2017.
