About me
I am an Assistant Professor of Remote Sensing at Soran University, as well as a GBD Collaborator at the University of Washington. With over a decade of experience in Python, JavaScript, and R programming, I have a strong foundation in GEE, Big Data, Remote Sensing/GIS, Earth Observation, and Climate. I hold a Ph.D. degree in Geography (Remote Sensing) from the University of Leicester, and I have published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers in reputed journals, including Lancet (which has an Impact Factor of 202.7). My expertise in remote sensing and geospatial analysis has allowed me to collaborate with researchers across a range of disciplines to provide innovative solutions to complex research questions.
