Military transition is painful and I have personally gone through this excruciating phase during the pandemic time. Just like you, I have had to go through the process of curating resumes, connecting with established experts and then strategize my efforts towards clearing interviews on my own. I took a decision that no other veteran should go through this phase. Hence my intent is to make this journey easier by sharing the lessons and mistakes I had made and come across as a result of interactions with subsequent transition batches.
My quick bio!
After serving the armed forces for a decade, I retired from active service and then became a stay-at-home father for 1.5 yrs. durign this period I had a put a considerable amount of effort to understand what it takes to be relevant in the market as and when I decide to do so.
All my efforts helped me to join a Big 4 firm with ease and finesse. I was offered a strategic role in which I got an opportunity to work very closely with the top consulting leaders. After 2 yrs of consistent effort I helped the leadership to successfully setup a full-scale business consulting office in international waters with a team of 200+.
I have come to understand that rather than approaching the transition as a completely new space, a large part of the context is about calibrating existing knowledge to fit the requirement of world outside. This course will give you what it takes to take informed decisions in the months ahead.
I have put my heart and soul towards crafting this course to help fellow brethren understand what to expect. In addition to the above, I have also touched upon resume writing, interview and salary negotiations throughout the course.
