My name is Dr Thea Ravasi. I am a classical archaeologist whose research explores the architecture, logistics, and spatial organisation of Roman imperial residences and their surrounding landscapes. My work is interdisciplinary, bringing together architectural analysis, structural archaeology, digital reconstruction, 3D modelling, environmental archaeology, and historical topography within the framework of large-scale urban research.
In 2025, I founded ArchaeoTrek, a dynamic initiative that builds on more than two decades of experience designing and delivering immersive, hands-on workshops and educational resources in schools, museums, and a wide range of learning environments. Through ArchaeoTrek, I combine cutting-edge research with extensive teaching experience to create engaging, evidence-based sessions that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the past among learners of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
