Antarikchya Pratisthan Nepal (APN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting space science, technology, and education in Nepal. It focuses on building Nepal’s capacity in satellite systems, space applications, and inspiring the next generation of space leaders. APN works on innovative projects like Project Munal, Nepal’s first student-built 1U CubeSat, and the Danfe Space Mission, a 3U CubeSat demonstration, while also developing urban solutions through satellite data and AI under the SUSN project. Alongside technical missions, APN conducts outreach programs, boot camps, and collaborations with schools, universities, and government institutions to spread space awareness and knowledge. With a long-term vision, the organization aims to establish Nepal as a hub for space technology and eventually send a Nepali astronaut into space by 2050.
