Known internationally for her specialized work in the relatively rare field of veterinary neurology, Dr. Anne Chauvet founded Veterinary Neuro Services in Wisconsin in 1999 and then moved it to Sarasota FL. VNS LLC is now an international company focused on education, helping grow veterinary neurology/neurosurgery businesses and with special interest in hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada, completed a small animal medicine/surgery internship at the University of Illinois in Urbana and finished her residency in neurology/neurosurgery at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Chauvet has been completed the course for rehabilitation by the Canine Rehabilitation Institute of Wellington, Fla.
Dr. Chauvet also spent five years as a clinical instructor in neurology at the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin in Madison where she conducted research on gene therapy for canine brain tumors and created the Basic Science Course in Veterinary and Comparative Neurology/Neurosurgery.
Dr. Chauvet remains focused on education and keeping families together by keeping pets on their feet. She currently lives in Scottsdale Arizona with two children, three horses, two dogs and a cat.
