Dr. Anima Ghosh is an Associate Professor of Physics (SoSH) and Associate Dean (PhD. programme) at SR University, Warangal, India. Prof. Ghosh is an accomplished academic and researcher with over 12 years of experience in teaching and research. Her research expertise spans photovoltaic devices, with a focus on photophysical studies of inorganic and perovskite materials, solar cell fabrication, and electronic band structure calculations. She also works extensively in lithium-ion battery development and density functional theory (DFT)-based computational analysis.
Dr. Ghosh has gained extensive postdoctoral experience from prestigious institutions, including Shanghai Jiao Tong University (China), Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata (India), National Taiwan University, and Academia Sinica, Taiwan. She was also a Visiting Doctoral Fellow at the University of Alabama, USA, under the prestigious Bhaskara Advanced Solar Energy (BASE) Fellowship. She was awarded the Gold Medal from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad for securing the highest score in her Master’s program. Her research contributions have been recognized through multiple awards at national and international events, including Best Poster Presenter at the ACS–SERB Conclave and Best Project Presenter at ICTP, Italy.
She has authored more than 35 research articles in reputed high-impact SCIE journals and numerous articles in national and international conferences. Currently She is mentoring five research scholars and six undergraduate students. Throughout her career, she has received numerous fellowships and travel grants from various national and international funding agencies. She also leads a research project under SR University’s Seed Grant Program.
