Angelo Molino

About me
Angelo Molino was born in 1966 to a professional music artist’s family. His late father, Mario Molino (1929-2000) was a famous Italian guitarist and composer, who co-authored the Maestro Nino Rota, which appeared in the composition of famous movie soundtracks such as “The Godfather” and “Romeo and Juliet,” by famous Italian director Franco Zeffirelli. Angelo’s mother Marcella Rufini (1931-2017) was also renowned in her own right as an actress and singer who appeared in many famous Italian films and television shows.
Growing up in an environment of art and music, Angelo chose to study Music in piano and composition from the State Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome. He then became a professional concert pianist in the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Angelo has since gone on to have a successful musical career where he has performed in concert tours all over Europe. Angelo was consistently rated as one of the top young classical concert performers of his time.
In addition to his work as a classical pianist and performer, Angelo is an early childhood music educator and professor, and he understands that music has a powerful effect on children who suffer from psychological disorders in particular. Angelo’s passion for using his musical gift to help children has become the mission of his life and his true calling.
After an extensive set of courses in Musical Therapy, culminating in his European Certification as a professional Music Therapist, Angelo underwent 6+years of clinical teaching experience in order to treat patients with special needs through the art of music.
Angelo is also a strong believer in building an ecosystem of sustainable philanthropy, promoting cross-sector collaboration and innovation, and encouraging everyone to be a change-maker for a better society. As the current Co-Founder and Honorary Chairman of The International Music &
Wellness Council, Angelo offers free Music therapy treatments to children and young adults who suffer from mental health disorders.
Angelo lives in California today and focuses his time on helping young adults and children thrive, through the wonders of music and art
