I'm an experienced digital heritage researcher and practitioner. I obtained a PhD (2023) at the Institute of Anthropological Studies in Culture and History at the University of Hamburg, as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie POEM PhD Fellow. My PhD is titled "Openness and fairness in the digital ecosystem: on the participation gap in cultural knowledge production". My doctoral work investigates policies, motivations, sociotechnical arrangements through the open knowledge lens, as well as the driving role of the digital economy.
I have completed the MSc (2017) in Digital Heritage at the University of York and I'm a graduate of Archeology and Art History from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. I have teaching and working experience at various research projects and cultural heritage institution. Currently I'm a project manager and researcher at Creative Thinking Development (CRETHIDEV) a non profit company which focuses on research, as well as development of studies and action plans in various fields, including digital heritage.
