Early on in my teaching of English as an additional language, I became very clear that most people seem to struggle to get to "high" levels of speaking despite having spent sometimes years in learning it. That always bewildered me as ALL of us mastered our first language and many people master many more later on. So why the struggle?
I have worked for over 40 years in the area of learning and teaching of languages. I have specialised in teaching English (and also training of teachers in this area). I have consistently sought answers to this conundrum and over time understood exactly why there is such a problem.
I tested my theories and practices with people from all works of all life, with varying levels of education (from literally no formal education to world-renowned experts in their own fields) in a number of languages (both as a learner and as a teacher).
I have now developed a hybrid online/coaching program for highly motivated learners who are driven to achieve a level of English that won't hold them back in their careers or lives. This program gets these people to the levels they need, as long as they follow the program!
