I'm an English instructor with an M.A. from Rutgers University and a passion for the literature of the 18th century, the Romantics (hence my Mary Shelley profile pic!), Shakespeare, and satire. I've taught English Composition at the college level, and I love to share great works of literature with students.

In my courses, we'll analyze texts and discuss their themes and ideas, with an emphasis on how they are still relevant today. Instead of giving learners a list of facts to memorize, I prefer to focus on how they can engage in a fruitful dialogue with writers of the past and come away with their own interpretations.
