Dr. Polycarpou is a Professor at a university teaching courses on Antennas and Microwaves. He graduated from Arizona State University with a BSEE in Electrical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) in 1992, an MSc in 1994 and a PhD degree in 1998. He has an extensive experience on projects related to antenna analysis and design, microwave circuits, electromagnetics, and wave propagation.
Prof. Polycarpou has more than 20 years teaching experience in universities and a broad knowledge and project involvement in Information Technology and Communications. He has also an expertise on Wireless Communications, Antenna Analysis & Design, RF/Microwave Circuits, and Computational Methods in Electromagnetics.
He is the author of a book on the Introduction of the Finite Element Method (FEM) in Electromagnetics, two chapters in books on Antenna Theory and Numerical Methods, and more than 80 scientific papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings.
