Amy Aed is a certified Taiwanese tea specialist, tea educator, tea writer, and the founder of Eisa Tea Co., an ethical tea company dedicated to celebrating exceptional loose-leaf tea and supporting women tea farmers across Asia.
After years of studying tea in Taiwan, Amy now leads immersive tea experiences, teaches workshops, and works closely with tea farming families and producers across Taiwan. Her work has taken her from the high mountains of Alishan and Lishan to the tea fields of Pinglin, Wuyishan, Fuding, Dancong Mountain and beyond, learning directly from the people who grow, process and preserve centuries-old tea traditions.
As both a tea writer and educator, Amy is passionate about making tea approachable while helping people develop a deeper understanding of how tea is cultivated, crafted, brewed and appreciated. Whether teaching complete beginners or experienced tea enthusiasts, her goal is to give students the confidence to choose, brew and taste tea with the knowledge of a professional.
