A daughter of the Monacan Indian Nation, Secada translates dance into a portal for transformation and connection with our mother earth. Her passion for bridging free form and ancestral movement creates a palette for liberation and discovery. Her teaching methodology explores the physical, mental, spiritual and energetic elements of the intrinsic dance experience through the foundational principals of African Dance, Capoeira, Contemporary and Yogic Philosophy. Secada has graced the stage with artists such as Madonna, Wyclef, Fergie, choreographed for America's Best Dance Crew and been a featured artist for NIKE Women.
