Dr. Amit Thakker is strategic project leader and system thinker with extensive global experience
in Healthcare Information Technology. His main passion is to improve health care
delivery by utilizing highly acclaimed healthcare tools and technology and by improving
process and quality of patient care.
Amit is a physician with sound understanding of clinical best practices across the world.
He has worked at world’s best healthcare organizations such as Princess Margaret and
Toronto General Hospital. He has pursued Master of Health Administration from one of
the Top Canadian universities and holds in-depth knowledge of regional, provincial and
federal health care systems and their administration. He holds Project Management
Professional (PMP) designation by Project Management Institute, has widespread
knowledge on project and change management area, and has worked on large-scale
healthcare information transformation projects.
Amit is also a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) by Society of Clinical
Research Associates (SoCRA). He has worked as Investigator in 30+ clinical trials at
Clinical Research Organization, led by Zydus. He also holds certificate in Quality
Improvement and Patient Safety from Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and
Yellow Belt in Six Sigma (process improvement certificate).
