Instructor
HealthTechX Institute - Neel Majumder
Global Digital Health Leader and Advisor
About me
I help healthcare professionals understand and build the digital health systems shaping modern healthcare.
Over the past 15+ years, I have worked at the intersection of healthcare, data, and technology, contributing to clinical transformation initiatives and large-scale Epic and Cerner electronic health record implementations across healthcare systems in Canada, the United States, the Middle East, and Asia.
Alongside my work in healthcare systems, I serve as Faculty of Health Informatics (adj) at the University of Toronto, where I teach and mentor professionals navigating the rapidly evolving world of healthcare technology. Through my courses, workshops, and training programs across platforms, I have had the privilege of teaching and mentoring more than 10,000 learners worldwide.
Through my work, I’ve seen both the promise and the tension of healthcare technology. I’ve met patients who believe digital tools can transform care for the better, and I’ve also seen clinicians struggle with systems that were meant to help but often created new layers of complexity. Those experiences shaped how I think about digital health today.
I am also the founder of HealthTechX Institute, a global learning and mentorship platform focused on helping healthcare professionals build careers in digital health, healthcare AI, health data, and health technology leadership.
My academic background includes a Master’s in Health Informatics from the University of Toronto, and I am a CPHIMS-certified healthcare IT professional. Over the years, I have also had the opportunity to engage with international digital health communities and contribute to conversations around how technology can strengthen healthcare systems.
Across my work—as a practitioner, educator, and founder—I remain deeply interested in how emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, health data platforms, and digital health products can be implemented in ways that genuinely support clinicians and improve patient care.
My goal as an instructor is simple:
to help healthcare professionals build clarity, confidence, and practical judgment in digital health, so they can lead and make better decisions in an increasingly technology-driven healthcare system.
Because ultimately, healthcare technology should do one thing well:
help people build systems that care and heal.
