Amey is a seasoned corporate finance leader with about two decades of experience spanning fund raising, financial planning, M&A and strategic initiatives. He has been mentoring young finance professionals for over a decade. 

Amey has spearheaded landmark transactions: raising over $3.5 billion in bonds and over $ 2 billion in foreign-currency monies. Amey’s notable contributions include securing over $ 1 billion of liquidity during COVID, arranging sustainability-linked loans and bonds tied to ESG metrics, and leading his organization to obtain an above sovereign credit rating. He was involved in executing a $1 billion worth of equity share buyback, $1.5 bn worth of IT acquisitions and in raising long-term project finance for challenging sectors and companies, consistently reducing borrowing costs and enhancing value.

Amey was recognized by BusinessWorld magazine as Finance 40 under 40, for a track record of executing complex strategic deals that are one of its kind in the industry. Before starting his career in finance, Amey took up a non-finance Bachelors degree in Engineering where he ranked first in the University of Mumbai and then went on to pursue an MBA in Finance.
