An experienced privacy coach and advocate, with over 25 years of IT, risk and project management experience. Amalia guides executives, teams, and privacy leaders to build their compliance programs and enable sustainable digital transformations.

Amalia has been in the Privacy compliance and engineering space for 16+ years and in the IT field for over 25 years. She is a passionate advocate for protecting personal data of individuals and their right to privacy. For the past 6+ years Amalia has been helping multinationals as well as small and medium-size organizations in the top 20 industry sectors with Privacy by Design solutions for complex systems, technology and business processing activities to realize the benefits of data uses in a lawful and compliant manner.  Amalia's experience and passion for risk management allows her to uniquely advise each client to take an innovative risk-based, low impact approach to assessing and building privacy compliance programs suitable uniquely to them.

Amalia is the Lead Contributor for the "Privacy Management in the Digital Enterprise" Certificate Program with the School of Continuing Studies at University of Toronto, based on COBIT 5/ 2019 and the ISACA Privacy Principles.
