In 2015, I became a caregiver at a small nursing home. When I started, I was the lowest person in the company. Despite that reality, I envisioned myself as the leader of the company. I envisioned myself as the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Believing what I held in my imagination could one day become a reality, I returned to college, took classes in Long Term Care, finished my Baccalaureate Degree, and then rigorously studied over many years to challenge The Nursing Home Administration Licensing Exams.
What I once held in my imagination is now a reality. I say proudly - I am a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. I became a LNHA in Dec 2022 which at the time of this writing is just 6 months ago. Becoming an LNHA is one of the greatest achievements of my life. It represents the culmination of many years of studying thousands of pages of information at home, at work, at school, at the library, in my car etc. However, what made the experience particularly challenging was the lack of realistic practice exams available on the market. Among all the practice exams I took over the 7 years I prepared for the exams, only 3 gave me some insight into the level of difficulty I could expect on the actual licensing exams.
Today, I'm adding to those 3 exams, by offering 2 more. These exams are designed to gauge the scope and depth expected on real licensing exams. Passing my exams are also a strong indication of your preparedness for the actual licensing exam. It is important to note, however, that success cannot be guaranteed by passing my exams alone. To maximize your chances of success, it is essential to supplement your studies with additional resources and approach your preparation with unwavering determination and persistence.
In closing, let me say, I am humbled and grateful to contribute to your professional development. And that it is my fervent wish that those with the greatest compassion, wisdom, and integrity always lead the way in providing exceptional care to the lives entrusted with us. I sincerely wish you well.
