I build and manage the brand, partnerships, investor base, and portfolio company growth for the most active early-stage VC investor in the Midwest as the Director of Platform at Hyde Park Angels. My work in writing, media, and marketing reaches over 500,000 unique entrepreneurs and investors a month online and through in-person teaching at General Assembly. And I've managed all of this through two core elements: career planning and voracious curiosity. 

It's my genuine belief that you can reach any aspiration, so long as you are prepared for the opportunity when it comes. As a teacher, I believe in giving students the hands-on experience and tools they need to define, design, and pursue their goals. As a content marketer and Director of Platform in VC, I believe value creation and talent development are the instruments of successful business outcomes. As a person, I believe in you. 

I broke into VC – an industry with 800 firms, fewer employees total than Accenture, and less than 10% female representation – in my early twenties. That's on top of building my own branding and graphic design business, career coaching, and pursuing all of my extra-vocational passions. If I can do that, so can you. I aspire to give every striving, hungry doer out there the lessons I've learned and the hacks I've engineered to grow into their best selves.
