Hi, I’m Alicia Hubbard, an occupational therapy student at Drake University. I am currently completing my capstone project, where I focus on empowering older adults to safely transition home from skilled nursing facilities. Through my capstone, I’ve developed educational resources about adaptive equipment, home safety, and lifestyle redesign strategies. I'm passionate about helping people live independently and safely in their own homes. I created this Udemy course to share practical, evidence-based strategies with a wider audience and to support older adults, caregivers, and healthcare providers in creating safer, more supportive living environments.
