I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design and have worked for design firms in New York and Los Angeles. But I have to say I probably learned the most about clothing construction and sewing machines while I worked as a tailor making alterations. I quickly found that is what I loved doing and has helped me become a better designer. I took on a new role this year as teacher and had no idea all the extra steps I'd have to take with some of my students learning remotely due to Covid. I decided to make videos of my lessons thus creating the opportunity for me to share them with you!
