About me
Hi I am Aharoni Carmel.
I have a bachelor degree in Education and a Master degree in Bible Studies.
I have been in education for over 20 years as a teacher and a principal in different continents.
Over my career I taught students from all grade levels, 1st-12th grade.
I am very passionate about effective teaching.
Aside for perhaps doctors, I can’t think of a more powerful, influential, and a crucial mission than being a teacher. It is a unique opportunity to reshape this world, one student at a time. As a teacher you are entrusted with the most precious resource of the world – its young generation, its future leaders and musicians, scientists and inventors. So many teachers enjoy the sweetness of the “aha” moment, the moment of discovery and new understanding in the eyes of a young and curious adult. Many teachers, unfortunately, struggle every day in class and the sad statistics show that too many young teachers leave the educational system after very few yeas. During my career as a teacher and a principal I saw over and over again that with the right guidance and support, effective tools and proven strategies, magic can happen in the classroom and a challenging experience can be turned into a rewarding and empowering one. With friends and colleagues, we formed The Freedom To Teach to help teachers enjoy teaching while being more effective. In essence we do that by fostering student’s internal motivation, and by promoting intrinsic reward rather than extrinsic reward.
Please come join on this rewarding journey and you will change in your own classroom
