I'm an Embedded Software Engineer currently working in the semiconductor industry. My domain involves firmware development for various microcontrollers and microprocessors, real time operating systems and various protocols and peripherals. Embedded system is fun as you get to see the results live in front of you, from a LED to an airplane, you can essentially learn to control anything in between, the scope for the industry is very large to summarize in a paragraph.
