I prove by my example: painting is a skill that can learn anyone. It doesn't depend much on talent: matters the amount of time, efforts and patience that you invest in the process of painting. And love, of course.
As a tutor I pay attention to the logical aspects of creating paintings, and if you would use and apply the criteria of tonal values, different types of contrasts, coloristic schemes, rules of composition, that I teach, you will definitely have a great result. My main medium, - watercolour, which I deeply love - stays the same 10+ years, and I'm truly an expert exactly in watercolour painting.
