Anthrozoology Education Dogs Canines
I’m a freelance Canids Researcher, Dog Behavior and Well-Being Consultant, Animal Advocate and Educator, with a significant background in social work, theatre, human development and team building. I’m passionate about animal studies of all sorts, and I am a professional member of some among the most regarded international association of animal behavior and human-animal interaction. My particular focus is canids: wolves, domestic dogs, free-roaming dogs, dingoes, foxes, and jackals among others. Wolves are at the core of my interest.
I’m involved in several projects globally, about animal behavior, animal cognition, education, animal rescue and compassionate conservation. My interest varies from up-to-date science research, to ancient believes, traditions and legends, and I integrate different knowledge in my work and mission. With a focus on psychology and behavior in both human and non-human animals, I spent considerable time observing wolves, dingoes and dogs in various contexts and locations around the world. I always contemplate a strong connection with nature, environment, social inclusion, and human and animal rights. As such, I’m also on the front line in the re-wilding movement, in animal well-being and environmental care.
I navigate the world working, teaching and researching in the fields of Human-Animal Interaction, Animal behavior and well-being, Sport, Movement-related techniques, Holistic Healthcare, and Theater. I also integrate my passion for neurosciences, psycho-physiology and visual arts in all of my work. Due to this broad spectrum of interests and experiences, I am actively engaged in a wide range of professional contexts, and I’ve been collaborating with universities in Rome, Paris, Novisad, Budapest, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne, Hobart and others.
