Fiona Young

With a fashion designer/ seamstress for a grandmother, I started designing and sewing at the age of 12. My first design was a red, cotton, flared mini- skirt.

Since then I have designed and made most of my own clothes, and did the same for my three sons till they got old enough to insist on the brands names their friends were all wearing!

Now, many years later, with formal training in both Fashion Design and Sewing and extensive experience running a business in both (plus a business of silk painting) I still love clothes, and creating unique, one of a kind garments. 

 And as an adult education instructor, both in person and online, I have been teaching these skills to others for over 25 years.
