For over 30 years, I have been guiding people into nature – as an environmental educator, experiential learning facilitator, and organic farmer in the Allgäu region of Bavaria. My work combines solid expertise with an authentic, hands-on approach to making complex ecological relationships easy to understand.
Whether it's streams, forests, meadows, or broader ecological questions: my goal is not just to explain nature, but to make it truly experiential. In my courses, I share methods that help children, young people, and adults rediscover a sense of wonder – and develop their own living, meaningful relationship with the natural world.
My focus lies in Education for Sustainable Development, resilience, and a pedagogy that empowers, motivates, and gets people moving. Professionally, I trained as a horticulturist, studied landscape architecture, and have continued my education across many fields – including as a multiplier for Education for Sustainable Development at Freie Universität Berlin, earning a Montessori diploma and a qualification in experiential education. My most recent major training was as a nature therapist, as I have come to notice more and more that people struggle to find stillness and a sense of belonging in the world around them.
At heart, I am a Scout – and it was scouting that laid the foundation for my passion for environmental education and my lifelong drive to inspire others and actively stand up for nature.
