Bucky's instruction is easy to follow, engaging, and to the point. I enjoyed the course and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good intro course to MYSQL Queries. The lessons stop at #22, but you can continue on YouTube to complete additional lessons. Thanks Bucky!
On the positive side, the instructor knows the material very well and his enthusiasm to share his knowledge is consistent throughout every lecture. Production values are very good too. However, his poor annunciation (e.g., "alright" is pronounced "are right," "SQL" is pronounced "SQO," "tutorial" is pronounced "torial," "mountain is pronounced " mow-in"), inclusion of garbled (and occasionally inappropriate) statements undermine his skills on this subject. Frequently, he seems to have difficulty articulately explaining the most salient points of the course. He doesn't seem prepared with good examples or precise definitions of concepts he's teaching. Summaries at the end of lessons often seem nervous and rushed. If he isn't already doing so, I would offer the instructor two suggestions: 1) work from index cards with clearly delineated bullet points and strong examples to support his ideas; 2) practice, practice, practice!
not so good to watch. overall pretty clear and easy explinations
If Udemy had instructor rankings Bucky would be in a league of his own. Check out his thenewboston.com website too. He's got a ton of tutorials there.
This is a great course. I learned a lot. Thank you.
