About me
Yolanda “Omega Brown” Harrold has been a captivating vocal sensation from the time she first took the stage to compete at the age of 11. Now, this lead vocalist with FAR Music Group/ Sony International, and television personality embraces her humble roots growing up in Miami, Florida. Scouts took notice of her singing, songwriting, and arrangement capabilities from a young age and helped to prepare her for a professional career in music. Her official career launched after joining girl group Fade 2 Black under Gold Dust Productions, which lead to a solo deal with Crystal Entertainment/Pantera Records in August 1994. During this 5 year tenure, she wrote and recorded spectacular tunes like Home (© 1994 CE/production by Vernon), Rodeo featuring Psycho and Redrum (©1994 CE/production by Vernon), and Relax featuring Vagabond (©1995 CE/production by Gold Dust Productions); in addition to a list of other co-productions, features, and vocal production through 1999.
In 2000, Omega broadened her range by teaming up on various international recording projects like the international chart topper Cloud 9 (© 2000 re-released in 2011 Soulshine Entertainment – produced by Luis Beneditti; written, arranged, and performed by Omega; distributed throughout Europe); I Can’t Stop - Album: I Can’t Stop; Set Me Free - Album: Pacha Vol. 1; You Make Me Crazy – Album: Pacha Vol. 3 (© 2003 Pacha Recordings – with DJ Eako and Mel Morelly; Italy). Omega progressively built upon her reputation as a hard-working, creative live entertainer as well. Her stage performances began in 2002 when she joined the band Pegasus Flight as the lead female vocalist. This paring guided her to frequent performance engagements at Calabash, Jazzid’z, Sandbar, Hard Rock, and Hot105 - Throw Back Thursdays, Anthony Hamilton Tour - backing vocals, Mel Waters Tour (line-up); and many private engagements, and events. During this time she personified finely tuned vocals and dynamic stage presence creating one of the hottest shows in town. She would go on to participate in subsequent opportunities with Philip Michael Thomas in the musical Sasha; and Chase Music Group with performances for Sylvester Stallone, and Dontrell Wilson amongst other high end corporate engagements. She has presently teamed up with the fabulous Ross Brown Entertainment, for performances and other professional ventures. Her most recent recording projects has included collaborations with Frank Farian for Celine Dion (Let's Talk About Love); No Mercy (Shine On You), Chris Mann & Christina Agullera (Blowers Daughter); Shawn Ward (Stand By Me); and Bonnie M Anniversary Album (International Release 40th Anniversary March, 2015); and various voicing projects with Beatnomicks, SoBe Entertainment’s Ja’Rae Womack album (Sound of a Woman, 2015 release), Urban Mystic (Feel Good, Tonight’s The Night), and many others.
