Valentina Zhang is an advocate for the environment. She has been a teaching assistant for the Ecology, Evolution, and Engineering for Empowered Brains workshop series at MIT. This online course draws upon Valentina’s studies at her moss laboratory in the basement of her home, her research on environmental issues, as well as discussions and collaborations with her mentors at the MIT workshop. In her other lives, Valentina is a student at Phillips Exeter Academy, an experimental gardener, and an aspiring biologist. She has hosted ecology exhibitions at Wellesley Science Expo and Science on the State Street Festivals in Massachusetts. Valentina is very excited to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for environmental protection, green infrastructure, and climate change on Udemy.
