About me
Lee Scott is the Founder and Chief Change Agent of Unleashing Leaders. Since 1997, Lee has coached and trained over 30,000 leaders across healthcare, engineering, energy, environmental, high tech, public safety and more industries. Over 25 years, Lee grew Unleashing Leaders into an employee-owned, high-impact change agency with over a 100 professional change agents across the country. Together, they have worked with public and private sector clients to accelerate the execution of over 200 program, operational, and IT transformational projects totaling several billions in budgets. Lee pairs specialized Project Managers, Change Architects, Process Architects, and Data/Technology Vendor Managers to work side-by-side with their client teams through the peak challenges of these complex changes, while building the people and systems to fully unleash them to successfully manage into the future.
Lee's work as a practitioner and educator focuses on practical, human‑centered leadership. He strengthens core leadership team dynamics, clarifies and communicates their strategic vision and values, aligns their systems and processes, and engages the strengths and passions of their people. Lee draws from real world experience across industries to provide tools that leaders can immediately apply in their current roles at any level of authority.
Lee is also the host of The Unleashing Leaders Podcast, where he showcases actionable leadership and management tactics from leaders across the country and industries with tools for navigating complex challenges.
Through the Unleashing Leaders University, Lee puts a leadership coach in your pocket. He shares the most practical and distilled versions of his field-proven tools and frameworks in short, context specific videos. Lee is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Richmond's Jepson School of Leadership with dual majors in Leadership and Biology and a minor in Economics.
