Having spent 10 years in the Ambulance service as a Paramedic and Education Manager, I became an educational specialist for Medical, Fire and Police agencies across Europe and the around the world. I have spoken at numerous international conferences about study and education, teaching a variety of technical courses.

I am now a director at Checkmate Publishing. An organisation dedicated to producing police education resources. I am also a co-founder of Powder and Pearls Photography and Videography, creating beautiful content for clients.

I am a post-graduate of education, research and psychotherapy with a deep understanding of the learning and studying process. I have also won the Falck research award and Dr Jeff Clawson Leadership award.
