After completing studies as an Aeronautical Engineer, Tim went to work as a rocket scientist for McDonnell Douglas in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Later he worked for Estes Industries designing consumer rockets. Since 1994, he has owned his own rocket company: Apogee Components. As a business owner, Tim had to also learn how to operate a business and grow it by understanding human nature and what customers desire. This led him to the subject of personality. The major discovery that he made is that personality and guiding principles of customers are directly linked. So if you can type a customer's personality type, you can easily determine what they value when making a purchase. This discovery led him to create a new business to help other entrepreneurs explode their own sales using the tools of personality as well.
