I started studying martial arts about 50 years ago and experienced jiu-jitsu, Filipino stick fighting and five animal kung fu, which I absolutely loved. My studies in tai chi back then was actually the long form ,Yang style tai chi and also the Ching men style tai chi and long Wu style… my journey took me many places, especially teaching, and also as a therapist in mental health. I became a certified Yoga teacher and shared yoga with those challenged with Autism. During the pandemic I studied Qigong and Tai chi on a deeper level and got certified in both. Fifty years ago there was no certification. This Ancient knowledge helps a person on the physical mental and emotional level and those three levels, especially the emotional level affects the organs in our body. The beauty of tai chi and Qigong is that it is based on traditional Chinese medicine. It works specifically with the organs and meridians. It is a holistic way to maintain one’s internal balance of all their systems and their health before it gets out of control. It is my privilege and pleasure to share something that I absolutely love teaching and try to live my life by its teachings with others to help them with their challenges. I hope you explore my Tai chi and Qigong course for balance and also the Tai chi eight form for health .
