Tamsin Haley is a South African business owner whose accent confuses people. Most people believe she has lived in Europe for an extended period of time, but she was born in Pretoria and went to school in 3 different places around the country - she feels that being a mining brat in South Africa is very similar to being an American army brat - moving from base to base. She studied at Stellenbosch University and was awarded her BA Humanities in English, Psychology and Political Science, as well as her Diploma in Postgraduate Marketing from the institution, before starting to work in Cape Town. She is very much South African and loves this country for all the amazing people and experiences that it holds.

Though she feels that she initially stumbled into a career in marketing, she now has a digital marketing agency of her own, and enjoys teaching people how to market their own businesses, and how their marketing efforts can better serve them.

In 2023, Tamsin started two new businesses with different business partners, namely Angel of Rock Productions, where she helps people publish and market their dream books, and Human Energy, a consultancy firm improving the employee experience in business while helping businesses become more productive and profitable.

When she is not working, Tamsin can be found in nature walking, camping or on her SUP board. Her new sports she’s discovered in the last few years are Ring Contact Fighting Arts and surfing, and she’s a yoga enthusiast.

She enjoys spending time with her son Luke and teaching him about the outdoors. This being said, she's an avid crafter, home cook and noob gamer.

Tamsin is working on bringing new books to the market, helping other authors self-publish successfully, becoming a public speaker and continues to drive and grow Social Happiness.

Tamsin was the runner up for the Businesswomen of the Year 2023 award from Women’s Business Awards. She has also been nominated for the South African 40 under 40 2024 Business Awards.
