Simeon Weedall has over 30 years experience performing and teaching rhythm tap and 15years of playing drum kit. Simeon began tap dancing at the age of 10 yrs old and later decided he would try to pursue tap not only as a career but also as a way of life. Having spent time studying all forms of theatre Simeon landed his first big job in Chicago the musical West End, but finding little or no fulfillment in musical theatre he quickly moved on and begun drumming and percussion. He worked with world renowned musicians including Mark Mondesir, Paul Booth, Theseus Gerard and Liam O'Conner. Simeon worked as a tap soloist across the globe performing his rhythm in every corner of the world. Simeon mentored and taught several Tap Dance Groups in the UK and his patronage stretches to multiple Dance schools across the world. Joining with Lee Payne, together they formed About Time which played the Tristan Bates Theatre London and toured the UK. Lee and Simeon moved forwards and never looked back starting another group with Theseus Gerard which came to be known as Percussive Feet - forged through 4 years of nightly jam sessions in Brighton the group focused entirely on the sound and rhythm of tap dance. Simeon joined the cast of STOMP London then toured with the show and is now resident in the New York production. Simeon more recently formed the International Society of Percussive Dance.
